The workshop

Two hoists behind the roller door

LP Automotive is a car yard and a workshop in the same unit. The servicing side is the side that earned the 28 Google reviews.

Every service includes new oil and a new oil filter

Their words, not ours. Oil and the oil filter work together to pick up what combustion leaves behind; leave them long enough and the build-up wears engine components out. LP work to your log book interval and tell you what they found before they touch anything else.

they fixed only what was required without increasing the amount of work just to get more money.

Headlight polishing$60 a pair

Hazy lenses stop your headlights throwing their full beam, which is a safety problem for you and for everybody coming the other way. They can also hold up an eSafety check. LP polish a pair for $60, no matter the size or the model.

What comes through

The work LP have shown

Every row below is something LP have published themselves, or that a customer described in a Google review. Nothing has been rounded up.

  • Logbook and scheduled servicing

Oil and the oil filter work together to pick up what combustion leaves behind. Leave them long enough and the build-up wears engine components out. Every service here includes new oil and a new oil filter.

  • Air filters

The filter is what stops dust and mud reaching your engine, and it chokes up as it fills. They check the log book with you to work out the interval for your car.

  • Suspension and shock absorbers

Shock absorbers soak up the bumps, and after enough years and kilometres they stop doing it. Front strut and shock replacement is regular work here.

  • Brakes, with genuine parts

A customer whose routine service turned up worn rear brakes wrote that the team sourced authentic parts for them.

  • Air conditioning re-gas

Listed on a car LP prepared for sale, so it is work they do in-house.

  • Tyres and puncture repair

Their own words: your tyres are your connection to the road, so check the tread and the pressure often. Punctures get repaired rather than upsold.

  • Wiper blades, Australian made

They took on a range of Australian-made JENOK blades and keep the rack stocked in sizes, so a change is a walk-in job.

  • Batteries and globes

Stocked on the shelves beside the wiper rack, so a flat battery does not need a second trip.

Pink slips (eSafety inspections)

Went in for a pink slip, was advised that I was due for a service too. End to end process was quick and easy and I walked out feeling confident that I was taken care of!

That is a customer’s account, and it is the only direct evidence we have. LP have never advertised pink slips themselves: their own post only mentions eSafety checks while explaining why hazy headlights matter, and the one directory that lists a safety inspection is an unclaimed profile. Ring and ask before you book one in.

We can come and get it

love their pick-up and drop-off service (within 5Kms radius) which is certainly very convenient.

Free pick-up and drop-off inside a 5 km radius. Another customer wrote that LP “even delivered my car back to me”.

When two other workshops have already given up

I’ve been to two mechanics before and they still couldn’t fix my Jeep then LP found the issue same day
